Overview
The Cascade Shampoo Bowl and Chair joins a deep ceramic bowl and a reclined chair on one base, so the client’s neck always lines up with the bowl rim. Matte black ceramic, black leather-look upholstery and a chrome faucet with pull-out sprayer suit both modern salons and barbershops that offer a wash with every cut. We manufacture it in our Foshan factory and ship factory-direct to US buyers, so specification, finish and packing are controlled in one place.
Bowl, chair and plumbing
The bowl is glazed ceramic in a matte black finish, deep enough to contain splash during a full rinse. It tilts forward and back so stylists can adjust the angle for each client’s neck length, and the neck rest is shaped to spread pressure. The chrome single-handle faucet and spray hose connect to hot and cold supply lines, and the drain runs through a hair trap to the building drain via a P-trap. A licensed plumber should complete the connection, including a vacuum breaker or backflow device if your local code requires one.
Comfort during the wash
The chair is set at a fixed comfortable recline with a seat height of around 21 inches, so most clients can sit down and lean back without help. High-density foam in the seat and back supports the body while the bowl supports the neck. A shampoo bowl and chair unit removes the guesswork of matching a separate chair to a separate bowl.
Cleaning and layout
Rinse the bowl after each client and clean the hair trap daily. Wipe the upholstery with a vinyl-safe disinfectant and keep conditioner and color off the seat. Allow about 30 inches of width per unit plus space behind for the stylist to stand, typically 3 feet. Most salons place units side by side along a back wall where plumbing runs are short.

Questions buyers ask
Does the shampoo bowl and chair come with a faucet?
Yes. Each unit ships with a chrome single-handle faucet and pull-out spray hose, plus a drain fitting and hair trap. Supply lines and the final drain connection are completed on site by your plumber to suit your building and local code.
Who should install it?
A licensed plumber should connect the hot and cold supply lines and the drain, including a P-trap and any vacuum breaker or backflow device your local code requires. Your contractor should also check floor drain or wall stub locations against the unit's dimensions before it arrives.
How much space does each unit need?
Plan about 30 inches of width per unit and about 7 feet of depth in total, including the unit and around 3 feet behind it for the stylist. Placing several units side by side on one plumbing wall keeps pipe runs short and installation simpler.
Is ceramic better than acrylic or fiberglass?
Glazed ceramic resists scratches and staining from color and toner and keeps its finish for many years with regular cleaning. Acrylic and fiberglass are lighter and lower cost but scratch more easily. For a busy wash area, ceramic is usually the more durable choice.
