Choosing salon chairs for your stations
Styling chairs set the tone of a salon and take daily wear from color, heat tools and constant swiveling. We build every chair in our Foshan factory to your chosen upholstery, base and footrest finish, so a full floor of salon chairs matches. Most salons combine a main styling chair with a few all-purpose recliners, dryer chairs and one stool per stylist.
Buying criteria
Pump rating. Standard styling pumps are rated around 250 lb, and heavier-duty pumps around 300 lb. Choose the higher rating for busy salons.
Seat height range. Look for roughly 19 to 26 inches so stylists of different heights can work comfortably.
Back shape. A slim or low back gives access around the shoulders for long-hair work; a rounded shell back feels more enclosing for the client.
Base and footrest. A 23-inch round base is standard. Chrome, matte black and brass-tone finishes are common, and the footrest should suit clients of different heights.
Upholstery. Vinyl is the most practical at color stations because it wipes clean. Textured vinyl hides scuffs, and performance fabric suits blow-dry and styling areas.

Layout, compliance and installation notes
Allow about 4.5 to 5 feet of width per styling station on center and about 6 feet from the mirror to the walkway, more for reclining chairs. Hood dryers on dryer chairs are built for 110–120V/60Hz; listing status (UL/ETL) is confirmed per model in the quotation, and your electrician should plan outlets along the dryer wall. The federal flammability standard for upholstered furniture adopted from California TB117-2013 took effect in June 2021; its application to commercial salon seating is not fully settled, so ask for the upholstery documentation with your quotation. California buyers should also request the Proposition 65 material declaration for vinyl.
How ordering works
Send us your product list, quantities, colors and delivery ZIP code by email or WhatsApp. We reply within one business day with a quotation that confirms specifications, warranty terms per component, production lead time and freight. Mixed-model orders start from 5 pieces, and single units can be arranged on request. Samples and upholstery swatches are available, with the cost and freight quoted. After you approve the specification and pay the deposit, we build the order in our Foshan factory, inspect and pack it, and ship it by full container or consolidated freight to a US port, with door delivery by LTL freight and liftgate on request.
