Overview
The Heritage Vintage Barber Chair recreates the look of a mid-century American barbershop chair while using a current hydraulic pump and recline mechanism. Deep oxblood red diamond tufting, a polished chrome frame and armrests, cream enamel side panels and a chrome scroll footrest give it a strong presence at the front of a shop or in a window seat. Every unit is built in our Foshan factory and sold factory-direct, with no distributor layer between you and production.
Classic details, modern mechanics
The tufted upholstery is a durable PU leather-look material over high-density foam, with each diamond button-set for an even pattern. The frame is steel with triple-layer chrome plating, and the enamel side panels are baked for a hard, glossy finish. Inside, a hydraulic pump typically rated to 500 lb handles lift, and a side lever controls recline. A vintage barber chair should look old, not feel old, and the Heritage is built on that principle.
Comfort for long services
The tall padded headrest adjusts for height and supports the client during shaves and beard work. Seat height typically runs from about 21 to 28 inches. The wide armrests are padded on top and chrome on the sides, so clients have a comfortable place to rest their arms during longer cuts.
Care and cleaning
Brush hair from the tufting with a soft brush, then wipe with a vinyl-safe disinfectant. Chrome and enamel clean with a damp cloth and dry with a soft towel to keep the shine. Avoid abrasive pads on chrome, which can dull the finish over time.
Many shops place one or two Heritage chairs as a feature next to a row of simpler working chairs. If you plan a full line of vintage barber chairs, allow around 5 to 5.5 feet per station because the chrome scroll footrest and wide arms take more room than a modern chair.

Where it works best
Ideal for traditional and heritage-style barbershops, hotel barbers and grooming lounges that want a signature chair. It also works as a feature chair in a shop that otherwise uses modern working chairs.

Questions buyers ask
Is the Heritage an antique or a reproduction?
It is a new reproduction-style vintage barber chair. The styling follows classic American designs, but the hydraulic pump, recline mechanism and upholstery are current production parts, so you get the look without the restoration and parts-sourcing problems of a real antique.
Can I get the tufting in a color other than red?
Yes. Oxblood is the standard shown, and black, burgundy, cognac and white are common alternatives. Other colors can be matched from a supplied swatch or Pantone reference. Upholstery swatches can be sent before production, with the cost and freight quoted.
How do I keep the chrome looking new?
Wipe chrome with a damp microfiber cloth and dry it straight away to avoid water spots. Use a non-abrasive chrome cleaner occasionally. Do not use scouring pads or bleach-based products on the chrome or enamel, as they can scratch or dull the finish.
Will it fit in a standard barber station layout?
Yes, but plan a little more room than for a modern chair. The wide arms and chrome scroll footrest mean about 5 to 5.5 feet of width per station works well, with 6 to 7 feet from the mirror to the walkway for recline.
