Overview

The Halo Salon Dryer Chair combines a comfortable fixed chair with a hooded hair dryer on an adjustable arm. Camel tan upholstery, wide padded arms and a four-leg brushed steel frame give it the feel of a lounge chair, which matters when a client sits under the hood for 20 to 45 minutes. It is built in our own Foshan factory and shipped factory-direct, which keeps quality checks and packing under one roof.

Chair and dryer build

The four-leg brushed steel frame is fixed, so there is no hydraulic pump to maintain and the chair stays still while the client relaxes. The seat and back use high-density foam with durable vinyl upholstery. The hooded dryer mounts to the frame on an adjustable arm that raises, lowers and tilts to fit different head heights. The dryer is built for 110–120V/60Hz; listing status (UL/ETL) is confirmed per model in the quotation.

Comfort for processing time

A salon dryer chair should keep the client comfortable for the full processing time. The Halo’s wide arms, deep seat and supportive back let clients read or use a phone. Dryer controls typically include a timer and heat settings, so the stylist can set the cycle and move on to the next client.

Cleaning and placement

Wipe upholstery with a vinyl-safe disinfectant and clean the hood interior with a damp cloth when cool. Check the dryer filter and vents regularly and keep them clear of lint and hair. Place dryer chairs along a wall near outlets, away from the shampoo area, with about 3 feet of width per chair.

Questions buyers ask

Is the hooded dryer listed for US use?

The dryer is built for 110–120V/60Hz US power. Listing status (UL/ETL) is confirmed per model in the quotation, so ask for it when you request pricing, particularly if your landlord, insurer or local inspector requires listed equipment in your salon.

Can I order the chair without the dryer?

Yes. The Halo frame can be supplied as a lounge or waiting chair without the dryer arm. Some salons order a mix, using the same chair in the dryer area with hoods and in the waiting area without, so the furniture looks consistent across the floor.

How many dryer chairs does a salon need?

A common rule is one dryer chair for every three to four styling stations in a salon that does color and roller sets. Salons focused on natural and textured hair, or on deep conditioning, often need more. Base it on your appointment mix.

How should the dryer be cleaned?

Unplug it and let it cool. Wipe the hood inside and out with a damp cloth, then clean or replace the filter as the manual describes. Remove lint and hair from the vents regularly to keep airflow strong and the heating element running efficiently.
