Overview

The Linea Modern Styling Chair is drawn with as few lines as possible: a slim square back, a cushioned seat and thin black metal arms on a black round base. In sage green, it adds color to a neutral salon without dominating the room, and its compact footprint makes it a good fit for tighter floor plans. As a factory-direct manufacturer, we build each order in our Foshan factory to the colors and finishes you approve.

Slim profile, solid build

The arms and back frame are steel tube in matte black powder coat, chosen for strength in a thin section. The seat and back use high-density foam with upholstery in a durable vinyl or performance fabric. A hydraulic pump typically rated to 300 lb sits in the black round base, with 360-degree swivel. A slim footrest ring keeps the look light from every angle. As a modern styling chair, it is designed to look good in photos and hold up to daily use.

Comfort and access

The slim back leaves the stylist clear access around the shoulders for long-hair work, and the thin arms keep elbows from bumping during sectioning. Seat height typically ranges from about 19 to 25 inches.

Care

Vinyl versions wipe clean with mild soap or a vinyl-safe disinfectant. Performance fabric versions should be spot cleaned with an upholstery cleaner. The powder-coated frame needs only a damp cloth.

For layout, plan about 4.5 feet of width per station; the compact footprint can let you add an extra station along a long wall compared with bulkier chairs. Because the Linea is offered in many colors, some salons use one color for cutting stations and another for color stations, which helps clients and staff read the floor at a glance. The comparison below sets this modern styling chair against a typical budget chair.

Where it works best

Suited to minimal and Scandinavian-style salons, color studios and blow-dry bars. Its compact size also helps in small salons and salon suites where every inch counts.

Questions buyers ask

Is the sage green color fixed?

No. Sage green is the color shown, but the Linea can be upholstered in almost any color. Send a Pantone reference or a physical swatch and we match it. Upholstery swatches can be provided before production, with the cost and freight quoted.

Is the slim back comfortable for long services?

Yes. The back is shaped to support the lower and mid back while leaving the shoulders clear. High-density foam in the seat keeps its shape. For services longer than two hours, some salons prefer a fuller back such as the Arc, so it helps to try a sample.

Vinyl or performance fabric: which should I choose?

Vinyl is the easiest to disinfect and is the safer choice for color stations. Performance fabric feels softer and looks more residential, and it suits blow-dry and styling stations where dye and chemicals are rare. Both can be ordered in one mixed order.

Can the base be changed to brass?

Yes. The Linea can be built on a brushed brass-tone or chrome round base instead of black, with a matching footrest ring. Many salons combine a sage seat with a brass base for a warmer look. Just specify the finish when you request a quote.
