Overview

The Shiatsu Massage Pedicure Chair turns a pedicure into a full-body relaxation service. A massage mechanism in the back and seat kneads and rolls while the technician works, and clients control programs from the armrest remote. Black leather-look upholstery, a black glass basin and a wood-grain base cabinet give it a rich, contemporary look. We manufacture it in our Foshan factory and ship factory-direct.

Massage system

The full-body shiatsu system typically includes rolling, kneading, tapping and vibration programs, with adjustable intensity and target zones. This pedicure chair with massage is a strong upsell: many salons offer a deluxe pedicure built around longer massage time. Padded armrests include a cup holder for drinks.

Basin and plumbing

The black tempered glass basin sits in the wood-grain cabinet with a chrome faucet and sprayer. It connects to hot and cold supply and a drain through a P-trap or discharge pump. A licensed plumber should install it with any backflow device local code requires. The adjustable footrest helps the technician set the right working height.

Electrical, cleaning and layout

The chair is built for 110–120V/60Hz and should be on a dedicated 15A GFCI circuit; listing status (UL/ETL) is confirmed per model in the quotation. Wipe upholstery with a vinyl-safe disinfectant and clean the basin of the pedicure chair with massage after each client. California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology rule 16 CCR 980.2 and Texas 16 TAC 83.108 both set cleaning, disinfection and logging steps for pedicure equipment, so check your state board rules and keep a cleaning log beside each chair. Allow about 6 by 8 feet per station.

Questions buyers ask

How long do massage programs run?

Programs typically run in cycles of about 15 minutes and can be restarted from the remote at any time. A standard pedicure takes 30 to 45 minutes and a deluxe service up to an hour, so clients can enjoy several massage cycles during one visit without the technician needing to stop work.

Is the massage chair heavier than a standard pedicure chair?

Yes. With the massage mechanism and glass basin, it typically weighs around 280 lb. Delivery is by LTL freight; we recommend liftgate service and two or three people to move each chair into place. Check door widths and stairs before delivery.

Does it need special electrical work?

It needs a dedicated 15A GFCI circuit at 110–120V/60Hz, installed by a licensed electrician. Listing status (UL/ETL) is confirmed per model in the quotation, so share that with your electrician and inspector early in the build-out. Plan one circuit per chair rather than sharing a circuit between stations.

What about Prop 65 warnings in California?

Vinyl upholstery may contain substances listed under California Proposition 65, such as DEHP. If you are in California, ask for the material declaration with your quotation, and we will advise on the appropriate warning label for the chair so it can be applied before the chair reaches your salon floor.
